We are reaching out to all of you to advise of a difficult decision that we have concluded inside MHT. A decision that we didn’t come to lightly by any means. We’ve spent many hours trying to devise a plan that would be both palatable to our clients and meet the needs of our business. We have been reviewing market trends in the IT sector and looking at the overall cost of goods and services market wide. With the recent increase of the valley’s population and the increase of competition moving here, over the past 6 years we have fallen behind that trend. In doing so we have had to occasionally absorb some of our client’s costs. Although we are happy to share the load when needed, this is not a long-term sustainable business practice. For us to continue to deliver the high-quality service that you all know and love, we have concluded that we must modestly increase our hourly rates. 

Please understand us, we pride ourselves on being the most affordable, while being rated with the highest level of customer service satisfaction, of all Managed IT Service Providers in the Treasure Valley and 2nd in the State of Idaho. This is not simply to increase our profits or provide our staff with raises. It is to ensure we can continue to afford the cost to operate in the valley as we have thus far. We wanted to make it absolutely clear to you that even in raising our rates, we still come in well under the valley’s average cost of $100 per hour. With all that being said, I’m sure you’re thinking by now “ok fine, so what are the new rates?”.

Starting April 1st, 2020 – the new rates will be as follows:

Onsite: $75.00 per hour

Remote: $65.00 per hour

**All Veteran, nonprofit, and BNI discounts will remain the same and applied to those accounts that were already receiving them.

Moving forward, at the end of every other year (beginning in 2022), we will review the market and account for the annual average national inflation rate of approximately 2%. Anytime rates change, a notice will be sent out in advance to advise clients of the changes in price. Those changes will then take effect at the start of the quarter following the price change notification.

We understand that in implementing this change, some clients may feel the need to modify their pre-purchased plans or even cancel service entirely. We want you all to remain satisfied with us, all the way to the end. If you have any modification requests, questions, or cancellation requests, please email and we will address any concerns that you may have. We value each and every one of you, which is why we consider you part of our family. We hope to continue to deliver the same quality service and support you have come to know and love.
